Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with American Hearth Supply. We are an authorized dealer for multiple premium hearth and outdoor living manufacturers, including WPPO and CUI Distribution brands (SimpliFire, Modern Flames, Monessen, Outdoor Lifestyles, and Fireside Furnishings).

30-Day Return Window

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unused, unassembled, and in original packaging with all included accessories and documentation.

Restocking Fee

Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, deducted from your refund. This fee covers inspection, repackaging, and return processing, as well as the original outbound freight and payment processing costs, which are not recoverable once an order has shipped.

Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product. Because many of our products are large, heavy items shipped via freight, return shipping costs can be significant — please inspect your order thoroughly at the time of delivery.

Original Shipping Costs

Original outbound shipping costs are not refundable, even on approved returns of items that shipped free.

Damaged or Defective Items

Please note any visible damage on the freight carrier's delivery receipt at the time of delivery and take photos. For concealed damage discovered after unboxing, contact us within 5 business days of delivery at (814) 440-4817 with photos and your order number. Claims reported after this window may not be eligible for coverage.

Non-Returnable Items

Custom, special-order, or made-to-order items — including custom stain finishes and any item marked special-order at time of purchase — are non-cancellable and non-returnable once ordered, per manufacturer policy. Items that have been assembled, used, or are missing original packaging are also not eligible for return.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, less the 20% restocking fee.
