Buying a wood-fired oven online means it ships by freight — and we know that raises questions. Here's exactly how it works, start to finish, so there are no surprises.

Free insured freight shipping

Shipping is free to the lower 48 states on our ovens, and every shipment is fully insured. You're covered from our warehouse to your curb. (Alaska, Hawaii, and international are not included — contact us for a custom quote.)

How your oven ships

Because these ovens are large and heavy, they ship on an LTL (less-than-truckload) freight carrier, not a standard parcel service like UPS or FedEx. Your oven is crated and palletized for protection, and delivered by a freight truck with a liftgate so it can be lowered safely to the ground at your curb.

Delivery timeline

• Processing: Most orders ship within a few business days of your order.
• Transit: Freight delivery typically takes about 1–2 weeks in transit, so most customers receive their oven within roughly 2–3 weeks total, depending on your location.
• Tracking: Once your order ships, we'll provide tracking and stay on top of it. Need a tighter estimate for your area? Just call us.

Scheduling your delivery

For freight deliveries, the carrier will typically call you to schedule a delivery appointment — so please provide a phone number you'll answer. You'll want someone available to receive the oven and help guide it off the liftgate.

Curbside delivery — what to expect

Standard freight is curbside: the driver brings the crated oven to the end of your driveway or curb on the liftgate. The driver is not required to move it into your yard, garage, or backyard, so plan to have help on hand to move it to its final spot.

Inspect on delivery — important

Freight damage is rare, but please do this every time: inspect the crate before signing. If you see any visible damage, note it clearly on the delivery receipt with the driver and take photos. Then contact us right away and we'll make it right. Signing off as "clean" without noting visible damage can make claims harder, so a two-minute look protects you.

Built-in kits & clearances

If you ordered a DIY built-in kit (AD70, AD100, AD120), remember it installs into an outdoor kitchen or masonry surround and needs proper clearance from combustible materials. We can send you the official WPPO clearance specs for your permit and build — just ask.
