About this model
The Bromic Eclipse Smart-Heat Electric is a 2900W radiant heater built into a round pendant with an integrated LED light. It hangs from the ceiling on a Bromic pole — over a dining table, a bar or a seating group — and heats the zone below it. Bromic's published heat area is 121 sq ft per heater.

Bromic's cut sheet lists IP54 and has no rain or covered-installation statement, so plan the heater under a cover and call us to confirm the placement.
Choose Your Voltage
- BH0920001-2 — 220–240 V
- BH0920003 — 208 V (common in commercial buildings)
Bromic's cut sheet lists one current figure (12.1 A) and no separate 208 V figure, so your electrician confirms the circuit for either model. Bromic's cut sheet does not publish a minimum circuit ampacity. Your electrician confirms which service you have before you order.
Before You Order
- Hardwired. Installed by a licensed electrical contractor on its own circuit — there's no plug.
- Height. Minimum height 96 in (8 ft), wall or ceiling, per Bromic's cut sheet.
- Clearances. Bromic's cut sheet does not publish clearances to combustibles or a spacing between heaters. Call us and we'll confirm the figures for your layout before you order.
- Control. A control is required and sold separately — the Affinity Smart-Heat Eclipse Pendant Control (1- or 5-channel), or a manual wall switch.
- Mounting. Ceiling poles: 8″, 24″ or 48″ straight, 24″ twin, 24″ curved; or a wall mount pole. See the poles.

Mounting & placement
Hangs from the ceiling on a Bromic pole (8″, 24″ or 48″ straight; 24″ twin, which is the included mount; 24″ curved) or from a wall pole. Head at least 8 ft above the floor and heat-sensitive materials 3.3 ft away in all directions; 20″ between heads.
Who installs it
Licensed electrician required — Bromic's manual: installation must be carried out by a licensed electrical contractor. Hardwired on its own 208 V or 220–240 V circuit (minimum circuit ampacity 17 A). The control is a separate part — add it to the order.

Patio heaters
Gas or electric patio heater?
Gas (natural gas or propane) gives the most heat per unit and suits open or partly covered areas with a gas line or tank. Electric is cleaner, quieter and the answer for covered patios, pergolas and anywhere gas isn't practical — but it needs the right circuit, so we confirm voltage and wattage before you order.
Can I use these in a restaurant or commercial patio?
Yes — Bromic's Platinum, Tungsten and Eclipse lines are used in commercial hospitality. Tell us the area you're heating and how it's covered and we'll size it.
Do you install heaters?
No. Gas heaters need a licensed installer and electric heaters need an electrician for hardwired models. We supply the manufacturer's installation manual and mounting/clearance requirements.
Shipping & delivery
Is freight included? Any liftgate or fuel fees?
Freight is included to the 48 contiguous states, liftgate included, with no surcharges at checkout. Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and international are quote-only — call before ordering.
How long until it arrives?
In-stock items typically ship in 1-3 business days, and freight items are delivered in 1-2 weeks from your order, with liftgate delivery. We provide tracking once it ships. Parcel items (accessories, some mantels and electric units) take about 5–10 business days by UPS/FedEx after they ship. Each product page shows the ships-in window; items with a longer manufacturer lead time say so on the page.
Will the freight carrier call me? What if I'm not home?
Delivery arrangements depend on the carrier; we'll confirm how yours will be delivered once it ships. Put a phone number you'll answer on the order. Delivery is curbside on a liftgate; the driver is not required to bring it inside, so plan to have a hand available.
What happens if it arrives damaged?
Look the crate over before you sign, write any damage on the delivery receipt (even "box damaged"), take a couple of photos, and contact us right away. For damage you find after unboxing, contact us as soon as you see it. We'll take it up with the distributor and manufacturer.
Do you deliver to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada?
By quote only. Call (814) 440-4817 with the product and address and we'll get a real freight cost before you commit.
Returns, cancellations & warranty
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, if it's unused, unassembled and in the original packaging. Approved returns carry a 20% restocking fee and the customer covers return freight unless the return is due to our error or a defect — on a large freight item that is real money, which is exactly why we check the size and setup with you before you order. Special-order and custom-finish items can't be returned. Full terms: Refund policy.
What if I ordered the wrong size or fuel type?
Call the moment you notice. Orders can be cancelled or corrected by phone within 24 hours (see our cancellation policy), and before shipment we can usually fix a size or fuel selection at no cost. After it ships, the return terms above apply — so call or text (814) 440-4817 with your dimensions first and let us confirm the configuration.
How does the warranty work if something fails?
You're covered by the manufacturer's limited warranty (the terms are on each product page, sourced from the manufacturer's own document). It applies because we are an authorized dealer. If something fails, call us first and we'll help you work the claim with the manufacturer.
Price & payment
Can I finance it?
Monthly payments through Shop Pay Installments are offered at checkout on eligible orders, subject to approval; the estimated monthly figure on the product page comes from Shop Pay, not from us. Checking your options is a soft inquiry.
Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is collected on orders shipping to Pennsylvania. Other states are not currently taxed at checkout.
