About this model
The Elevation™ X is Napoleon's premium traditional gas fireplace — a deep-set firebox with clean-face design, full firebox flame front to back and side to side, and a modulating ENDLESS EMBERS™ electric ember bed that glows independently of the flame.

Controls
The Elevation X is run from the ProFlame II remote or the eFIRE app on your phone.
- Flame height — 6 levels, from off to high
- Fan speed — 6 speeds. The fan starts 5 minutes after the burner lights and runs 12 minutes after it turns off
- Night light — dimmable rear accent lights, 6 levels
- Split flow — turns the second burner on or off
- Ember bed — remote controlled
- Pilot — continuous or intermittent
- Child lock — locks the remote keys
- Power failure — with batteries installed, flame height and on/off still work; the blower and night light do not
- eFIRE phone app — on/off, flame height, lights, blower and a timer
Flame height and fan speed are set independently. The fan runs only while the burner is lit.

The Elevation X is built to order. A log set, a set of decorative panels and a finishing kit are required to complete it. Fronts and trims are optional. You can add them with the build options on this page, or call and we'll put the build together with you.

Step 3 — Finishing Kit (required)
Napoleon's installation manual says to choose early between a non-combustible finishing kit (NCEX36/42) and a combustible finishing kit (DHCEX or DHMEX), because the framing differs: the combustible route needs an air outlet opening in the enclosure; the non-combustible route does not.

The charcoal Zen front is out of stock at the distributor in both sizes. Napoleon's manual: if you install an optional trim, the fireplace must be raised flush with the hearth or the finished floor.
Other Heat Management (optional — call us)
Napoleon also lists Dynamic Heat Control Plus (blower kit DHCP-BK $1,149, exterior mounting kit DHCP-EK $319, hot air grill kit DHCP-HK $309) and the Hot Air Distribution Kit (LHAD, $709). Call and we'll confirm the right combination for your install from the manual.

Will this fit my wall?
The dimensions on the page are the appliance body; framing and rough-opening sizes are different numbers and come from the manufacturer's installation manual linked on the page. Call or text (814) 440-4817 with your wall width and height and we'll confirm the right size before you order.
Do I need a professional to install it?
Gas appliances: yes, a licensed gas installer, and most jurisdictions require a permit and inspection. Electric fireplaces are simpler but hardwired models need an electrician. We don't install — we supply the manufacturer's installation manual and clearance specs so your installer and inspector have what they need.
What's included, and what do I need to add?
Each product page lists what ships in the box. Log sets, glass media, decorative fronts, mantels and venting kits are usually separate items — tell us what look you want and we'll put the complete build on one quote so it ships together where possible.
Is freight included, and how long until it arrives?
Freight is included to the 48 contiguous states, with liftgate delivery and no surcharges at checkout. Your order typically ships in 1-3 business days, and most deliveries arrive in 1-2 weeks from your order. We provide tracking once it ships, and the carrier calls to schedule delivery. Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and international are quote-only — call before ordering.
What happens if it arrives damaged?
Look the crate over before you sign, write any damage on the delivery receipt (even "box damaged"), take a couple of photos, and contact us right away. For damage you find after unboxing, contact us as soon as you see it. We'll take it up with the distributor and manufacturer.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, if it's unused, unassembled and in the original packaging. Approved returns carry a 20% restocking fee and the customer covers return freight unless the return is due to our error or a defect — on a large freight item that is real money, which is exactly why we check the size and setup with you before you order.
