About this model
The Vector™ is Napoleon's linear direct vent gas fireplace — a wide, low ribbon of real flame. Maximum input runs from 30,000 to 48,000 BTU across the four sizes.
Single-Sided or See-Through
Every size comes both ways. Single-sided for a standard wall. See-through for an interior wall or room divider, with flame visible from both rooms.

Minimum enclosure / ceiling height is measured from the bottom of the unit (installation manual W415-2034).
See-through models are shallower — 16.19" framing depth instead of 20.13", since there's no back wall. Actual unit depth is 16.19" versus 19.89" single-sided.

Choosing Your Media
A log set or media is required, and it changes the whole look. Options include Oak and Birch High Definition logs, Beach logs, Contemporary logs, Woodland media, wrought iron globes, mineral rock, and glass media in clear, topaz and Shore Fire.
The same fireplace reads rustic with birch logs or fully modern with clear glass beads and the LEDs on. Call and we'll walk through it.
Optional Heat Management
LHAD, DHC, DHCP and DHM are available. Dynamic Heat Control (DHCL1 for the Vector 38 and 50, DHCL2 for the 62 and 74) is the one to know about if you're mounting a TV above. With DHC installed, Napoleon's Dynamic Heat Control manual (W415-2373) allows electronics, picture frames and other wall-mounted objects from 6" above the finishing flange, and 6" below the DHC air outlet opening. It uses no fans or ducts, but it needs a ventilated enclosure with a minimum-size air outlet opening, and it must be installed with the fireplace, before the venting and gas.
Vector vs. Elevation X
The Elevation X is a traditional deep-set firebox — taller, squarer, with decorative brick panels. The Vector is linear: wide and low, reflective panels, LED accent lighting. Traditional room → Elevation X. Contemporary feature wall → Vector.
Venting
Direct vent means sealed combustion — air from outside, exhaust back outside. You'll need a licensed gas professional and a vent path. Venting isn't included; if your installer isn't sourcing it, we can quote flex pipe as a separate order.

Will this fit my wall?
The dimensions on the page are the appliance body; framing and rough-opening sizes are different numbers and come from the manufacturer's installation manual linked on the page. Call or text (814) 440-4817 with your wall width and height and we'll confirm the right size before you order.
Do I need a professional to install it?
Gas appliances: yes, a licensed gas installer, and most jurisdictions require a permit and inspection. Electric fireplaces are simpler but hardwired models need an electrician. We don't install — we supply the manufacturer's installation manual and clearance specs so your installer and inspector have what they need.
What's included, and what do I need to add?
Each product page lists what ships in the box. Log sets, glass media, decorative fronts, mantels and venting kits are usually separate items — tell us what look you want and we'll put the complete build on one quote so it ships together where possible.
Is freight included, and how long until it arrives?
Freight is included to the 48 contiguous states, with liftgate delivery and no surcharges at checkout. Your order typically ships in 1-3 business days, and most deliveries arrive in 1-2 weeks from your order. We provide tracking once it ships, and the carrier calls to schedule delivery. Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and international are quote-only — call before ordering.
What happens if it arrives damaged?
Look the crate over before you sign, write any damage on the delivery receipt (even "box damaged"), take a couple of photos, and contact us right away. For damage you find after unboxing, contact us as soon as you see it. We'll take it up with the distributor and manufacturer.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, if it's unused, unassembled and in the original packaging. Approved returns carry a 20% restocking fee and the customer covers return freight unless the return is due to our error or a defect — on a large freight item that is real money, which is exactly why we check the size and setup with you before you order.
